If your lane is coming to a stop you should slow to a stop as well and not dart into the next lane and cut me off. This will not make you get to work any faster and will only make me have to slam on my brakes and slow the flow of traffic in your new lane as well. Why are you in such a hurry to get to work anyways? It's ok to stop for a few seconds.

I'm not saying that you can't change lanes. If you look, there's a hole and you signal there is no problem. Going "OMG my lane is slowing!!! and swinging into the next lane without regard fucks up everyone's Christmas.

agreed. I have decided I will fight anyone who gives me shit about being a few minutes late to work because of bad conditions this year. Well at least give them whatfor. Better to be late than in an accident. I was 15 minutes late today because people were being dipshits and I was patient about it.... Ain't care.

Sadly, I've got one equally as bad (or worse).

What bugs the hell out of me is when the person swerves at the last second out of the lane I'm in because traffic is at a standstill. It's almost always a frickin white Econoline. Or, you're the one who's stopped and the Econoline changes out of your lane at the last instant. I've almost been hit a few times from that one since the people behind the van can't see shit till its too late.

Know the feeling. I used to rotate weekly between early and late starts. Now I'm on early all the time and there's never any traffic.

Yeah on my early days I am out of bed and on the road in half an hour. Normally I'm out of bed and don't leave for an hour and a half.
